The worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church family has historically been linked to camp meetings. There are many in Sydney who have expressed an interest in resurrecting the camp meeting dynamic for the Greater Sydney Conference.

Therefore the Greater Sydney Conference administration and directors have established an Annual Convention Taskforce to investigate the possibility of running a Camp Meeting program in the future.
