The Greater Sydney Conference covers the area from Wollongong in the south, to the Hawkesbury River in the north, and from west of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains to the Pacific Ocean in the east, including the islands of Norfolk and Lord Howe.

The urban population of the Adventist Church in Sydney is quite diverse. There are 25 organised language groups with almost every people group in the world represented in the Conference. The church membership of just over 8,200 is divided among 75 congregations of the following language groups: English, Spanish, Samoan, Fijian, Tongan, Slavic, Cook Island, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian, Russian and Polish.

Our Adventist Education System in Sydney operates seven Primary schools and four Secondary schools and two child care centres, allowing students smooth sailing through to Year 12. We also manage three aged care centres, including a nursing home, hostel and independent living units, dedicated to the compassionate care of the residents and their families.
